Foreman's back tensed even further when House looked from the woman to him. House would never miss an opportunity to embarrass him--in front of the fellows, in front of his neighbours. House thought he was being a rebel by outing Foreman, but it wasn't that; it was the crappy double entendres and even crappier attempts at winking broadly at him when it was blatantly obvious to everyone in the elevator what he was talking about. House was happy when he was in control; he probably wouldn't find it so amusing if Foreman grabbed him by the front of his t-shirt and kissed him soundly in front of someone else. "It wasn't a challenge," Foreman said briefly, still not looking at House. It was a solution to a problem. If he pushed House far enough, in some respects, House would actually back down, which was good to know. Foreman smiled even more apologetically at the woman, relieved when the elevator doors opened and she left the building ahead of them.

Foreman turned to House once the door had closed behind her, shaking his head. House made him do the most ridiculous things; he still couldn't get over the fact that he'd ambushed House in the showers. Just because it had been hot didn't make it an act he was trying to top. "You know, I'd out you to your neighbours, but I have a feeling you already managed that this morning."
