House would have paid attention to Foreman's response if he'd been less distracted--he was suddenly curious, and made a note to come back to that question when he was less distracted by pain and the erotic lesbian images flashing in his mind. He dismissed Foreman's first response and stepped farther into the room, closer to Foreman.

"I'm right more than you," he said, finally letting his hand fall from his head, even though it still throbbed. He was considering borrowing some of Thirteen's ice from her freezer when Foreman's next words killed that thought, and a grin tugged at his mouth. As fast as he could manage, he hoofed it to the door, speaking over his shoulder. "But you have good ideas. Lock up on the way out."

He actually remembered where Thirteen was headed for her date, and it wouldn't take long to drive a few streets down and set up a post across the street. He might even be able to convince Foreman to crash the date with him. Maybe answer his earlier question somehow--kill two birds with one stone. He headed straight out of the building and leaned against the passenger door of Foreman's car, waiting for him to catch up.
